Each year, neighborhoods across the country dedicate one summer evening to celebrate and strengthen their commitment to a safe community. This is an opportunity for Eden Prairie residents to gather with neighbors and friends, get to know one another better, enjoy a few hot-off-the-grill favorites and build a sense of community. Neighborhoods can also choose to participate in a food drive contest for Eden Prairie PROP.

Representatives from the Eden Prairie Police and Fire Departments, as well as several City officials, will visit many of the local celebrations that evening. Visit for more information and registration form.

The Touch Of Culture Expo aims at embracing and celebrating different business ethnicities and their culture and will feature elite suppliers from Minnesota who understand and appreciate your needs.

There will be lots of networking with live music, prizes, henna and face painting and lots of entertainment throughout the day.

How has Lake Minnetonka changed over time? Join us as Paul Maravelas explains the impact of natural and human forces on the lake including Native Americans, the deforestation of the late nineteenth century, tourism and wildlife, suburbanization, various dams, channels, bridges, public parks, dredging, and more! We’ll discuss the whole lake, from Crane Island to the former Spirit Knob, one of Minnetonka’s best documented Dakota sacred sites.
