What To Expect
The spring-summer market kicks off later this month with a celebration featuring vendor food demos and samplings, kids’ crafts and activities, live music, and free outdoor yoga. A supplies donation drive for the nonprofit Face to Face, which serves homeless and insecurely housed youth in Ramsey County, will also be on site.
Free Yoga: 10am – 11am
Bring your mat and wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move and stay warm during the free outdoor yoga class. All skill levels are welcome.
Kids Activities: 10am – 12pm
The team from FriendChip Farm will have fun activities for the kids. Granola-making craft using sunflower seeds, balsa wood flowers to decorate, a market scavenger hunt, and a free packet of sunflower seeds for each child to take home and plant.
Vendor Demos and Samplings: 9am – 12pm
A variety of market vendors will offer food demos and samples of dishes. You don’t want to miss out on all the goodies they’ll have for you.
Face to Face Supplies Donation Drive: 7am – 1pm
In their commitment to giving back to the local community, the SPFM will hold a supplies donation drive for the nonprofit Face to Face. This incredible organization provides comprehensive medical care, mental healthcare, housing support, case management, employment training and support, and other social services. Shoppers are encouraged to bring full-size shampoo and conditioner, toothpaste, deodorant, and other basic needs. For a full wish list, you can visit https://face2face.org/donate/supplies.
